Summary: Wheat The Cropcast estimate for 12/13 world wheat production is 668.5 MMT, down 10.6 MMT from last week due to mainly to dryness in FSU and Europe.
• Rains this past week improved moisture for wheat across the far southern Plains, but dryness increased a bit in the central Plains.
• Frost late this past week resulted in some spotty damage to northeastern France and south central Germany.
• Significant dryness continues to build across southeastern Ukraine into northern North Caucasus, western Kazakhstan, and southwestern Volga Valley in FSU.
• Dryness is building in eastern Australia, but some relief is expected next week.
